About Me

I have been teaching here at Washburn since 1999.  I am married with 4 children.  We also have two dogs, a golden retriever named Skipper and a Yellow Lab named Buoy.  In the summer we spend our time on Big Island on Lake Minnetonka.  At Washburn I was the boys JV soccer coach (now coaching in Chaska), retired head Nordic ski coach and sailing team advisor.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, playing and coaching soccer, skiing, and all things water related.

Education

I graduated from St. Olaf College with a Biology degree and an Environmental Studies Concentration.  Later I earned a Masters in Science Education from the University of Minnesota.
